The girls are all tucked in and getting ready for their first full day of training with Baer. They had a great day - everyone was up and at breakfast on-time and packed and on the bus by 10:00 AM. We walked through Amsterdam and then went to the Ajax Experience -- an interactive museum explaining the Ajax methodology and history with small rooms where the girls were put to the test to kick with force, ball direction, dribbling skills - with real-time feedback and scoring. We then went to a professional Ajax game -- the home team won and the kids had a great time. After a long bus ride we arrived in Maastricht for a late meal and room setup. All are doing well, smiling alot, taking care of one and other and very patient with the adults that made them travel with a 'buddy' in the busy streets of Amsterdam and endure many head counts. We are having a great time and can't believe that the intense training has not even started yet. More tomorrow ---
we are enjoying the blog!
